We live in a world of ever-increasing violence.
There were 7,759 reported hate crimes in the U.S. last year — the most in 12 years, the FBI reported this week. But some experts and advocacy groups say the true number is probably even higher.

Nearly two of every three hate crimes reported last year — 64% — were motivated by a bias against race, ethnicity, or ancestry, the FBI said. Of all hate crimes, 36% were anti-Black or anti-African-American, 10% were anti-white and 9% were anti-Jewish.
\”As [the Anti-Defamation League] has said time and time again, when just one individual is targeted by a hate crime, it negatively impacts the entire community, resulting in marginalized groups rightfully feeling vulnerable and under siege,\” said ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt in a statement.
The FBI defines a hate crime as an offense that is motivated at least in part by a bias against a victim\’s race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity. When a country decides to annihilate the people of another country putting the lives of its people at risk it is motivated by hate.
When a man or woman decides to kill others to satisfy some hurt in
them is hate
This is nothing new. Hate crimes began when Cain killed Abel. It was motivated
by his parents, who disobeyed God’s first command.
The solution to hate is the Great peacemaker, Jesus Christ.
Jesus the author and creator of Love decided to step down out of heaven
to become our example of love.
We have always had this, but the world does not live according to love.
Going forward how do we instill love in this generation for generations
to come?

The value of love in the life of a human is defined as the main one. No matter who is the person, love always takes an important place in his or her life because love is defined as the most important subjective indicator of happiness. But why is love so important? Scientific studies have shown that being in love causes our body to release feel-good hormones and neuro-chemicals that trigger specific, positive reactions. Levels of dopamine, adrenaline, and norepinephrine increase when people are in love.

LOVE CAN NOT BE SEPARATED FROM YOU

We say we love. But what do we mean?
WHAT IS THE STANDARD OF LOVE?
God is Love.
Jesus is the standard of Love.
When we say we love, do we mean we love like God?
Jesus sacrificed His life for ours. Would you hang on the cross for another person?
Does God expect us to hang ourselves on the cross for another person? Of course,
the answer is no!
Christ died for the atonement of our sins. Your death would accomplish nothing.
Romans 5:7-8
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die? 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
So what attributes of Love does God expect from us?
Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus replied: \”\’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.\’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: \’Love your neighbor as yourself.\’
This seems simple. But what does it mean to love God with all of you?
According to what Jesus did on the cross, love is sacrificial, love is for the benefit of another
person. Love is an unselfish act. Love endures through trials and tribulations. Love never
ceases.
God gives us 16 characteristics of Love.
Adults have to practice this for children to see love in action.

Say I love you often

We must remember that love is not a noun but a verb. We don’t sit on love,
we act on it.
1 John 3:18-20
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 19 This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence 20 whenever our hearts condemn us
1 John 5:3
This is love for God: to obey his commands.
HOW TO INSTILL LOVE IN A CHILD?
Say Love then show love
Parents, Grandparents, you are their SHOW AND TELL
Teach them to do acts of kindness, by showing acts of kindness
Teach them responsibility, by being responsible.
Live a Discipline life, discipline children when needed.
Teach them to respect their elders.
Teach them to respect themselves by doing what is right.
Teach them to respect their peers by being role models for rights.
Teach them to respect authority
Teach them to follow directions
Reward them for good behavior from time to time
Express your approval for the right
Express your disapproval of wrong
Explain that doing wrong has consequences
Let your kids experience the consequences of their actions
Give children chores to do daily
For example, let them start by keeping their room clean
Kids need to know that in life there is no free ride.
Let them earn your respect
Love involves trust
Trust is important in relationships because it allows you to be more open and giving. If you trust your partner, you are more likely to be forgiving of their shortcomings or behaviors that irritate you because overall you believe in them and know they have your back.
Trust in a relationship means you believe that your partner is reliable and has your best interests in their heart. It means you have faith and confidence in them. And you feel emotionally and physically safe with them, just as they do with you. (Internet).
If your children can’t trust what you say, they will disrespect you.
If you say you will punish them, do it.
Don’t make threats you are not prepared to carry out.
If you make a promise to them, keep it.
WHAT DOES THE WORD SAY ABOUT TRUST?
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Live these verses so your children can see them in you.
Speak trust in your life situations before your children.
To know the Word and not practice the Word is useless.
